New Faculty Faces at Fisher
This September, several new faculty members will teach their first fall courses at Ó£»¨¶¯Âþ, while several others return to the classroom or take on leadership positions within their Schools.
The School of Arts and Sciences welcomes 13 new faculty members. Dr. Marina Bonilla-Conejo (Spanish), Dr. Emily Kerr (chemistry), Dr. Zachary Gold (psychology), Professor Derek Harnsberger (legal studies), Dr. Jinyan Chang (economics), Dr. Emma Greenspon (psychology), Dr. Mirco Dinelli (economics), Dr. Nancy Rourke (religious studies), Dr. Chelsea Wahl (public health), Dr. Andrew Wells (athletic performance), and Professor Melissa Kay Wilkinson (art, art gallery manager). Professor David Kassnoff (media and communication) and Dr. Anastasia Nikolis (English) also return to the classroom.
Dr. Zhe (Richard) Wang joins the faculty at the School of Business, teaching in the accounting and finance programs.
In the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education, Professor RJ Chesterton is serving as a visiting instructor of childhood and special education. Dr. Angela Clark-Taylor joins the faculty and serves as chair of the executive leadership doctoral program.
Dr. Maria Wheelock, Professor Allison Nickel, Professor Allison LaPietra, Dr. Lindsay Shor, Professor Kathryn (Katie) Ledwin, and Professor Marcie McMahon are new to the Wegmans School of Nursing, while Dr. Elizabeth Kiss returns to the classroom. Dr. Denise Curlee joins the master’s in mental health counseling program. There are also four faculty members taking on new leadership or instructor roles in the Learning Resource Center and Glover-Crask Simulation Center, including Professor Heather Sisk, Professor Jennifer Fernaays, Professor Crystal Dobri, and Professor Karen Parker.
In the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, Dr. Elizabeth Bremer is serving as the assistant dean of student affairs, Dr. John McDonald will serve as a visiting professor of pharmacy practice, and Dr. David McCaffrey returns to the classroom, as well.
