Transfer Scholarships
Fisher offers a generous program of scholarships designed to recognize and reward you for the special talents you bring to campus.
Transfer Achievement Scholarships and Awards
Transfer Achievement Scholarships and Awards are granted to full-time transfer students and range from $8,000 to $16,000 per year.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships are awarded to full-time transfer students who are participating members of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. This scholarship is $3,000 per year for each year a recipient attends Fisher.
Honors Program
Eligible transfer students will have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or above from all previously attended institutions. The invitation to participate in the Honors Program is made after the student is admitted to Fisher. A separate application is required. The Honors Program Scholarship is $2,000 per year for each year a recipient attends Fisher.
Note: The Honors Program Scholarship may be combined with the Transfer Achievement Scholarship and Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship.
Legacy Award
Students with a parent, grandparent, or sibling who is currently enrolled full-time, or who is a graduate of Fisher, will automatically receive a Legacy Award of $1,000 per year. This award may be combined with any other scholarships for which a student qualifies.
Flower City Award
All out-of-state students, as well as students from Nassau and Suffolk counties, will automatically receive a Flower City Award of $5,000 per year. This award may be combined with any other scholarships for which a student qualifies.
New York State Transfer and Articulation Association Scholarships
These scholarships are available to students planning to transfer to four-year institutions. Students must have completed an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, or Associate in Applied Science from a two-year member college. For more information, visit the .
