Financial Aid Announcements

Spring 2025 Course Registration

Spring 2025 course registration will begin the week of November 18th. To ensure you will be able to register during your time slot, go to and verify that you do not have any holds. If you do, contact the applicable office prior to your time slot to resolve any issues.

Federal Work-Study Positions

Available Federal Work-Study positions are posted on Handshake. Work-Study awards are offered to students with financial need. Students are paid at an hourly rate and receive paychecks every two weeks for the hours worked. Work-Study will not be credited to the student's account.

Fall 2024 Semester Student Bills Available on Fish 'R' Net

Fall semester student bills are available on >Payment & Billing > FisherPay (login required). The current account status will display the current balance due and the most recent charges at the top. Statement history will display all of the statements that have been generated with the due date reflected in the top right corner of the statement. The statements are a snapshot of the student account on the date it was generated. For real-time information, please be sure to view the current account status. 

Sign Up for Direct Deposit

Sign up for direct deposit today on under the Payment & Billing section. Direct deposit allows you to receive your credit balance in the fastest way possible. Please note that any student without direct deposit information on file and a credit balance will have their check mailed to the mailing address Fisher has on file. Checks will not be available for pick up on campus. You can check your address on under the Personal Information section. Credit balance refunds begin the second week of classes each semester. You will be notified via email if you have a refund and when it has processed.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The 2024-2025 FAFSA is now available! Complete the application at for students attending summer 2024, fall 2024, and/or spring 2025. Students and parents (if applicable) will use 2022 tax information on the 2024-2025 FAFSA.

2024-25 New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)

For the 2024-25 academic year, the NYS TAP grant income eligibility has changed. For dependent students, NYS net taxable income cannot exceed $125,000, $60,000 for married students with no dependents and $30,000 for independent single students with no dependents. TAP grants will range from $1,000 to $5,665 for 2024-25. Student accounts will be updated once processing has been completed with the State. Students must complete the .
